Privacy policy

This notice explains what ContextBridge at contextbridge.in collects, why, how long it is kept, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. ContextBridge is operated by Kshitij Bhatnagar in India, the data fiduciary for this service.

What we collect and why

• Share links you paste and the conversation they contain. To build the bridge page, the exports and memory search. Kept so the bridge link keeps working, until you ask us to delete it.
• Passages of bridged conversations and their search vectors. To power memory search on the site and through the MCP server. Kept as long as the bridge.
• Content you send with the browser capture tool, including links to images in the chat. Used and kept the same way as bridged conversations.
• Name, email, company and message from the contact form. To reply to you. Kept for up to 12 months after the conversation ends.
• Razorpay subscription and payment IDs, and the email or phone you give Razorpay at checkout, if you buy Pro. To deliver Pro, handle cancellations and refunds, and keep accounts. Kept as long as tax law requires.

Card, UPI and bank details go directly to Razorpay and never reach us. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or advertising cookies.

Bridged conversations are public

ContextBridge only works with conversations that are already public through a share link. Anyone with a bridge link can open it, and bridged text appears in the shared memory search. Do not bridge anything private or personal data about other people.

Who processes data for us, and where

• Vercel, hosting (global, United States based)
• Cloudflare, security and delivery (global)
• Razorpay, payments (India)
• ntfy.sh, delivers contact form messages to us

Each processes only what it needs for its part of the service, under its own security and privacy terms. Search vectors are computed on our own servers, not by an outside AI provider.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, get a summary of processing, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated. Email the grievance contact below with the bridge link or payment ID it concerns.

Children

You must be 18 or older, or use ContextBridge with the permission of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly sell Pro to children without that permission.

Security and breaches

Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
